Ok first i have to thank Neil for designing a circuit and Martyn our super electronics guy at work for making a couple of changes, laying it out and creating the board etc but this now is finished. Its a small box which takes a feed from your ignition, earth, and has a small relay fited to tell the temp sensor that its cold, it does this for 30 seconds then trips back out.
It has two LED's fitted in the box, red to show its tripped in and sending the signal, green to show its out, its a small 2" x 1" box which fits neatly in the ECU box with velcro. I have tried this on my RR of 97 vintage and it works perfect, i will tomorrow finally fit it in permanently.
The one i have was our prototype and the ones he is making now are the finished version. Its really easy to install, if i can do it anyone can.
Any more info email me on alan.crowder@pharm.ox.ac.uk
