Eavning, just been doing fair bit of work to my 86 2.5 n/a. It's had all new filters new oil cjange new timing belt and new fan belt new downpipe. I've added some diesel additive in the half full tank just to clean some grot out. I've been driving round today and it feels like it has slightly less "poke" it goes ok but just not as much power there as it used to be. Is this the additive in the tank or new fuel filter etc which is giving it less. Poke?? Thanks all.

Na it won't be got it all changed professionally at Keith gott landrovers know them veryy well do understand it could be slightly off tho thanks for that. I'm thinking just to run the tank down to empty with the additive in then full tank of vpower diesel lubricante pump and everything else??

Fair enough

Couldn't comment whether the additive - certainly new filters should improve not make worse

No harm in trying filling with vpower - other than that sorry, out of ideas

as said before timing will be out a bit ,if you loosen 3 bolts holding pump and rotate pump clock wise when looking at engine from drivers seat
