Hi guys, would appreciate pointing in the right direction on this, 2001 auto range has started to be really lumpy on tick over, Started a few weeks ago, changed to a tank full of Shell and a dose of injector cleaner and half a tank later seemed much better for a few days (30 miles a day approx) then it started again. Notice more when in traffic when just easing off the brakes to crawl. Was out last night and it was rougher than usual, noticed every time i took my foot off the gas the orange/yellow engine light flickered on for a second then went off. Very short run today and no warning light but still rough tho not as bad. On tickover it runs steady then every few seconds it skips a beat. Otherwise starts and runs fine apart from Airbag fault on the display.
Any ideas chaps Thanks Phil (Merseyside)

Change your fuel filter and wouldn't hurt to do the air filter also. Its a place to start and they are cheap and need to be done

Also introduce your self, have some tough skin, there is alot of good info here and some **** giving.
Also post in the right sections some others would slap your hand. Have some fun and welcome

Check your MAF sensor and the pipes around it. A dirty sensor or split pipe can cause bad tick over.

As for the airbag warning have a wiggle at the yellow connectors under the seats.

Thanks boys, just as a point of interest, i had i on a friends diagnostic today (Snap On Solus Pro Scanner) and it showed up fault... 136 Fuel Quantity Control.....
Any clue on that, Will change filter and have a look at MAF sensor as sugested in mean time. Cheers Phil

Just an update fellas, filters changed and all is well, peace and quiet at the traffic lights.
Although every now and again when i take foot off the gas pedal absolutely nothing happens, tap the pedal a few times and she's away again,
Strange but true........ who can say ?
Thanks for your help Phil
