I rather like the quote from one of Clint Eastwood's films: "you're a god-damn legend in your own mind's eye".

Not from Clint Eastwood. "He who can play the trumpet can safely blow it, those who can't should just listen to the music". :D

The answer i gave P38AI that sorted his problem, will become a standard response from the parrots for years to come, mark my words. :D:D:D

Anyway enough of that. What's it like in sunny Wirral today. Misty here must be some high pressure over us. Not been out yet though.
Was a bit misty but the sun has burnt it off. Nice morning and very mild. The Enemy wants the lawns cut so I'm praying for rain.

Not a hope in hell mate, she thinks it's cut by opening the curtains, long grass when they are closed and short when they are opened. It's magic

Ain't it funny how women demand equality in everything, except manual labour? :D:D:D

And me, but unlike Brian I manned up and did it myself.:D:D:D
When mine went I had only had it four weeks end of November wet weather and cold so sod doing that on the driveway with no landrover experience and the box is twice the size of me:D:D:D
I will be pulling it out soon to do clutch and other bits.

I do hope it's the g/box you will be pulling out.;) Yes, looking at it for the first time it's a bit daunting but not a bad job at all. My son has just had a clutch put in his Disco by a mate starting up his own garage. Charged him £120 and my son supplied the clutch assembly, I wouldn't bother doing it myself for that sort of money. Pity he's 250 miles away in Ipswich.
