Depends what MY your vehicle is. They changed the routing on later models to avoid the awkwardness of access. Not too bad once your in there bud, usual feeling when they look okay then crumble in your hands is ‘ I am now glad I got round to it’ same goes for pipes over rear axle - don’t try to rub it down or even glance in their general direction. If they are original just replace the pipes altogetherMine are due to be changed on the back end at some point. Waiting for better weather and access to a 4 poster. Not something i'm looking forward to if i'm honest lol.

I just crimped the old pipe close to the connector then cut it,it stops fluid loss and you can use a double deep socket to remove it.If your changing the brake pipes there are two straight connectors in the drivers wheel arch under the liner about were the pedels are when i did mine i made up two short bits with ends crimped, whipped out the pipes too be changed one by one and plugged with the short bits ran all the new stuff then just s swapped them over again quick that way you dont loose much fluid and have the hassle of Rave bleed procedure,
you can thread the new pipe in through the front over the chassis and down to the back in one then out drivers rear wheel area then back in over the crossmember to the other side and with a bit of fiddling get it back in the old clips but will cable ties to hold as the clips brake, then bleed as normal.

What!, your telling us @Grrrrrr had rusty nuts. The simple ways are the best
on Grrrrrrr`s the connector was shot so we whipped the pipes out the abs block and plugged um quick so we could sort another connector

Bit like is an orange male or female, if it squirts in your eye without warning it's male if sometimes sweet but can be bitter and sour it's female. One second he'd grabbed my pipe and the next second he was wiping his face.
