Went to Brighouse motor auctions this morning with a view to bidding on a 2001 2.5 diesel County. Done 74k miles, full service history, 3 owners, Epsom green with lightstone leather. Looked at car before auction, can't have keys so couldn't look inside or start it. Looked ok, few scrapes and scratches. When it was its turn to be sold the guy started it up, engine sounded ok but 'gearbox overheat' came up on message centre. Also front suspension would not rise and was lower at one side than the other at the back. Sold for £3,800!!! couldn't believe it, was thinking with those faults would be about £2k max.
