Ok, I've got 2.25 diesel, 5 bearing engine, and after working on the CAV pump, the injection timing seems heavily retarded. There is a bronze bush that supports the underside of the injection pump, that the scew gears runs through. Is this the same part and arrangement as on the old 2.25 3 bearing engine? Can't find the part number of any info on this. Any help would be much welcomed.. Tony

Working on the pump will not change the split bush or worm gear. If it ran ok before then it's the pump needs looking at.
