when we are on about glows, anyone recommend single replacement parallels? all i'm finding is allmakes gam101 or buying full sets

turned out to be faulty plugs earthing to the body, made by britpart. i bought some goodens and they work fine

what did you go for? those 101's by allmakes? shame you can't find a proper manufacturer that fits the 2.25s.

Parallel Plugs- who said they still work if one fails? I bought some- I did not realise they were **itpart. third time of using the centre of one plug popped out- I heard a hissing sound as I turned the engine over. looked and the middle had tried to escape.
Ruined my New years Day run- **itpart- don't just love them?

I got the heater plug conversion kit and first failed to bypass the ballast resistor. Did not turn out very well... but after bypassing the resistor, everything is hunky-dory and they work as intended. However, a previous owner very thoughtfully put in a separate button, so the chance of them burning out is very small. Here is an article on the topic.

If they push out of your engine block, it is more likely that the threads in your block are damaged/partially stripped. These are not made by Sh*tpart, but are made by ETechno1:

These have an RRP of €24.50 each. This offer is for 4 Glow plugs for £20 including post and packing. That is cheaper than Britpart plugs from Paddocks, excluding P&P.
