Dear Forum!
I have a series 3 diesel, which I'm rebuilding. I believe it was originally petrol, and has had the diesel fitted later. Therefore it has the rod type linkage for the accelerator rather than a cable, which the Haynes manual refers to. Is this correct?
The linkage has never been connected correctly in my ownership, and having reconnected it as I thought it should be, the accelerator doesn't spring back to the idling position.
Does anyone have a diagram of what this should look like - even a photograph?
Many thanks in advance
Jonathan
