Any of you guys in here experienced the 2.2 duratorq engine, refusing to start as if run out of fuel, then all of a sudden the fuel reappears and she coughs and splatters into life.
I've had this happen twice now however the second time it happened she ran for a few moment, went into limp mode and then just died completely, cant seem to get high pressure coming out of the hp pump. I have fuel coming out into the common rail but nothing like it should be. Does anyone know if the pressure regulator should have a feed with the ignition on and is it controlled by another little pressure sensor gremlin

Its a psa Peugeot engine in the diesel FL2. If yer got intermittent fuel supply, how full is the tank? There's a pump in the tank to pump it from one side to the other when the amount gets low. Think its 25% from memory.

Not sure about the voltage. Would need to measure one to check.

On yer other fred yer asked about the pressure reading. If yet look on me youtube channel there's a number of video's with engine live data. Tickover, running slow, at speed... There should be pressure sensor values for comparison in them. Mine is an SD4.
