10 year old taking out engine today any easy ways to take out gearbox bolts. Help please!

Ah, good for you, Floor and tunnel out including the plate on the bulkhead for access to top bell housing nuts.

@bog69 , really there's plenty of room to remove the gearbox nuts and bolts without removing the floor/tunnel, though this does make life easier. If you're not planning/needing to remove these, don't. There's plenty of room from inside the engine bay...climb in and position feet on chassis and/or straddle the engine + from underneath the Landy. Just be patient when doing this and apply penetrating fluid to the bolt/nuts the day before work start...

We’ve swapped it now. Cheers. Took the floor covers off. Went fairly easily. Few dramas with a fuel pipe underneath falling to bits (bad repair a few owners ago as knew last three) also fuel pipes not in the right place. Also alternator on new engine not the same type.
