Hi,
I am looking for the pert number for the cyclone breather that was fitted by land rover to the very last 19j's, See photo attached. The breather/ cyclone is just to the left of the fuel lift pump, my good friends at Lr, speke spent an age looking through old parts catalogues and even dragged the old fiche reader into the search, but, no joy.
The breather is similar to the one fitted to the 2.5 NAd engine and at a push I can modify one to fit.
Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Afraid I cant help with the number, but thanks for posting the pic, it is interesting. That is not like the set up that was originally on my vehicle, or on the many other 19js I have seen.

It looks a lot better than the set- up on most 19j, looks like it should prevent too much oil being spat into the inlet tract.
Are you sure that one isn't of a 2.5na or a Tdi?

Hi, yes it is similar to the one retro fitted to the 2.5NAD (ERR2886, thanks for the part number JM) which is what I will probably end up using. I already have a sump with the return welded in from my old engine 2.5NAD. the cyclone fitted to the 200 and 300 tdi is also a possible, however one of the input ports maybe too short for a pipe to be secured onto as it is designed for a push fit into the rocker box with an 'O' ring.
I also believe that there was also a mod from landrover that utilised the crankcase breather of a 200tdi but again cannot find any reference to it or the part numbers.

phil
