Got a d2 which feels very dead. It seems to run pretty nice. Just low on power..wastegate is free. Any advice? Thanks in advance

Have you had it read for fault codes... thats a starter for 10

as tilly says, but you would also need to look at the readings or post a screen shot of them on here.

Try diconnecting the MAF sensor and see if that improves things.
We had one like that , was sluggish and had n not real go, it was the HP side of the fuel pump had failed, checked the fuel delivery rate at the engine and it was running on the Low pressure rate, but only just.

My TD5 fender behaved just as you describe. After checking all sorts it turned out to be low boost pressure as a result of a blocked cat.
