Hi guys I was supposed to be picking my latest td5 up tomorrow but the owners just rung me to say they can't start it
The battery was flat so the recharged the battery but it won't turn over and the s and m light is on and they said there's a bleeping sound the truck hasn't been used for 6mths it had already had a new gearbox previously to being parked up
Any help would be great

Hire a trailer, give him £100 as it's a non-runner and get it home.

It sounds to me like the first place to start is with a new, good quality battery of appropriate spec.

Remember to fully charge it before installation. I do all my batteries for 24hrs irrespective of what the supplier says.

if it doesnt crank at all it might be immobilised if the battery was completely flat, lock and unlock with fob then try again

Make sure Fob battery is OK. Wont turn over without microchip inside activated.

Cheers guys all home and sorted just cleared the codes licked it and left it for a few mins then tried again and it started first turn .. thanks all
