I am having problems with my central locking, the tailgate fails to open and the whole central locking clicks on and off on its own quite often, anyone any idea of the problem?

Hummm Im not sure I have a 2000 and I havn't has any troubles with mine

i have exactly the same problem with my 1999 range rover diesel 2.5bmw engine rangie can anyone please help with the problem

well not sure about the tailgate issue but when the central locking works on its own ie normally locks itself it is a drivers door latch faulty

Thank you that gives me something to go on having checked fuses and relays which show and test as ok

i still need advice on the tailgate not working it will not open on the button it is just totally dead any help would be appreciated please i am going away with in the car 1st week in may
