can any one tell me does the disco 2 have a second wiring harness built in to the car that takes the white S type plug for towing???

Hi yes it does if you remove o/s rear light & put your hand down you will find a multi plug which you con connect your 12s plug to and if look in your fuse box under bonnet check to see if the fuse is fitted it has a picture of a tow ball on it, if you can wait i can fish the wire colours out for you just send a pm .

Hi I know this is a post from the past. But is there 2 plugs on the disco that you can plug a N type and s type into at the rear of the disco ?
So you can have both working. The s type I am told is for battery charging and fridge running in a caravan. So I am wondering if the required wiring is already run to the rear ready to connect to. Many thanks in advance

The factory fitted plug is 12N -7 pin for trailers for indicators, brake lights, side lights, etc, the 12S is for caravans and has permanent feed but you have to fit it yourself and wire it to that plug mentioned in post #2 then you can have both N and S in working order
