Hi guys, what is the interval for the oil change for P38 Range Rover? What is the recommended oil for the 4.6 litre engine? Highly appreciate your feedback.

I would use 10/40 or 15/40 if a little tappy. every 7k

JuiceyV8, that is very helpful and thanks for the feeback I think 10/40 is much better suited to the climate in my country.

Hi, I have owned 4 P38's all 4.6 HSE auto.The latest has done 150k and I always use Castrol magnatec 10 /40 part synthetic.Maybe I am crazy but I tend to change it every 5000 miles but I do quite a lot of short journeys.I don't know what anyone else thinks but I reckon that's a small price to pay rather than £4000.00 plus for a new engine.

Hi mate, theres nothing wrong with changing the oil every 5k miles and thats a good thing to do as well
