It's an old disco, how do you know its rusted out?

Flaming folk for no reason is getting out of control.

All the guy is doing is selling his old motor so he can make space for his new one.
Both Land Rovers and this is a Land Rover forum isn't it
its a land rover it will be rusty, its a disco so it will def be rusty ;)

unlike my rusty free 109

Rusty yes but rusted out, you never know

I have a freelander but know stuff about other vehicles too;) and its a bank holiday so leave me alone:p

I'e been scrapping my 98 disco since sept. so far I've sold the lift spacers and shock droppers., and the engine and made £350. the rear axle went to wlm the rest has gone to the pikies. I still have the gearbox and TB but not expecting to get £100 for the pair... mines done 200k miles. Unless he's done **** LOADS OF WELDING to it it'll be rotten. they all are at that age. There's no such thing as a rustfree example unless it's a recent jap import. No one seems to want interiors or dashes etc. so unless it's got lots of toys it's worth

£200 weighed in for scrap
£200 as a non mot'd possible project/repairer/off road toy
£500 broken and sold as parts. maybe more if he gets lucky.
£600 with a full MOT maybe more if it's a really really clean motor.

This isn't dissing him or having a pop It's the currently reality of selling an overweight estate car..

i hid behind the comfy chair. followed the fred from beginning, but was too lazy to write something. now started the chainsaw and going to behead everyone...
gosh am i bored

I wouldn't expect any less;)

btw are you doing the Chatsworth show with your furry friends this year?

It's been handed over to the British Ferret Club so retired from official duties, but will probably be there sometime over the weekend.
