I paid 2K for a R reg 110 with a rusty chassis, what have you done to yours that cost £5.5k

PS including labour costs doesn't count..

Well it's not got a rusty chassis for a start....looking around at whats up for sale at the moment it's in roughly the right price bracket - granted toward the upper end of it - but thats why it's a starting price. Admittedly I have no idea if the rest of the defenders advertised at this price bracket are selling but we'll see, I'm in no rush and can always drop the price a bit if theres no interest - it's more difficult to go the other way!

I guess the recent spate of floods and snow has pushed prices up a bit along with the prospect of the defender being replaced by land rover the defender stock will start reducing in size - particularly the older deisels that don't have to be plugged into a laptop to get the to work properly.
