Land Rover Defender 90 300 Tdi in Red.
I bought the land last June from a place called Challenger 4x4 in Tongham, Surrey. When i bought it it was in a bit of a sorry state rust along the chassis rail and front cross member amongst other things.
I have decided to put it up for sale to see if it would sell, i am currently in the house buying stage of my life and would find it hard to see it sat in my garden while the house would take front stage. I don't need to sell it to fund anything so i am in no rush to let it go and if it doesn't go then i guess ill be having a garden ornament.
I started a progress thread on here so i could document all of the repairs.

As you can see i have spent a lot of money getting it into the running condition it is at now, everything is backed up with a receipt and a picture of all the parts getting renewed.
Looking at the millage on the mot cert i have covered under 1000 in my ownership just due to the fact i was enjoying welding it up even if it wasn't crucial.
The engine and gearbox sound fine with no rattles knocks or bangs at all, it drives straight and is really a great motor.
The body work is tatty with dents surface rust/oxidation and scratches around it but its is what you expect with a defender.
- Millage is at 120,000.
- JUST PASSED ITS MOT LAST MONDAY 11/05/2015.
- Cambelt change 400 miles ago
- Full service by me 400 miles ago
- Since owning it i have spent £££ on it which is backed up by every receipt.
I have put it back on the standard wheels which is the only difference between now and the last pic on my thread.
- 2'' extra wide arches
- Terrafirma 2'' lift kit
- Terrafirma turrets and securing rings
- New coolant pipes
- Wind deflectors and snow cowl
You are basically buying a defender with a chassis that has no rot in it.
Plus many other things documented in the thread.
I am putting it up for £4000 but i am open to an offer.

Any feed back on how to improve the for sale ad i would be grateful.
Thanks
Chris
