Selling my LR Defender 110 300tdi due to the wife being made redundant and now needing a car we can both drive.

Richards galvanised chassis
Ashtree galvanised front bulkhead
144k miles
Only one previous keeper who was my employer, so I've kind of known it since new.
(There can't be many 24yr old Defenders around with just one owner)
I bought this in 2006 when it was 10 years old and have owned it for the past 14 years. I knew I wanted to keep it so I had the galv chassis & bulkhead fitted, and had it resprayed from Alpine White to Bonnatti Grey
Heated front windscreen.
Quick release steering wheel for security.
The internal door cards aren't pictured but are available, I never got around to refitting them back on.
It has some rust on the bottom of the offside B pillar and rear sill, but these parts can be replaced and for a 24yr old Defender its otherwise great.

£10,650
Sheffield S8
South Yorkshire

It looks very nice, despite the problems. You must be sick as a parrot having to let it go.:(:(:(

Thanks, I am very sick about it. Held off as long as I could but finances dictate, and the wifes company car has to be returned due to her redundancy, effectively leaving her without a car as I don't let her drive the Defender.

Makes me wonder if it might not just, only just, be the point at which her driving it becomes a possibility. After all, if she is not working, won't she just be using it to go to the shops and job interviews would be done online? Don't she get a redundancy package out of which she could buy a runaround?
Just thinking the way I'd be thinking in your shoes. Have been there a few times as being an accountant means getting made redundant quite often, happened to both my dad and wifey, both accountants!
Anyway all the best with it.:(:(:(

She's only short and doesn't like climbing in/out, and she just generally isn't interested in driving it, thankfully :D

What a fantastic Landy. Sorry to hear you’re selling it but good luck with the sale. Someone will be getting a very nice truck.
