The locking of the Tailgate on my Landy has suddenly stopped working and cannot be opened. I have changed the centralised locking server (£60) and it is still the same. The servo plunger does not seem to fully extend on unlocking to allow the door to open.I believe now, that there is a fault with the door locking levers. I can get the door open from the inside by physically extending the server plunger and holding it in the fully unlocked position, but on release it falls back down. Does anyone now if there is a type of cam that should hold the mechanism unlocked on operation of the FOB.

Any help please would be appreciated.

I have the same problem. I have to unlock with the remote then turn and hold the key to open the back. Its all down to a little turnover spring in the lock mechanism. Its a swine to get to and even harder to get a replacement without having to replace the whole thing. Too expensive for me, I'd rather use the key every time.
It looks as if the plunger isn't working, but it is only designed to push it so far then the locks various springs turn it over the rest of the way, once one breaks, the whole thing stops.

You may be very lucky and find its only come unhooked.......but I'd be very suprised, good luck!

Hey, look what I found...
