Cheers, I might take you up on that. I could teach you what I know in two mins, get yourself a cheap welder a bottle of gas and scrap steel and go for it. I love welding and fabricating now, starting to make a set of rock sliders then plan to attempt front bumper then rear step.

LOL, I have all of that, just rubbush at using it.

Hi Ian how's it going call yourself a welder, I heard you place ran out of grinding discs lol. It's looking really well at this rate you will be finished before me. No panic you need it finished for 7th August for the run from Carrickfergus to Portrush that Beyond were organising it's now official.

Haha its as well we keep Hugh stock quantities of them, cant weld for **** but getting some talent for grinding. Just thought I would let you know I've the mot lined up for last minute and I could very well be in carrick on the day if all goes well this week!!!!. Pressure is on you to have yours in carrick!!!! Keep your eyes on the rear view mirror, it might be me behind you lol.

Great work mate.
What sort of paint are you using? For the grey seat box and the black axles etc. Are they brushed or sprayed?
Both look nice and hardy and shiny!

Thanks for the comment, its sprayed and both 2pack. The grey is colour match to the landy code which is spot on, just need to buff the old paint to bring it back to its true colour.

I was off all last week and decided to buy this to let me carry on while it rained nearly every day. Just as well or nowt would have got done, have to say it was worth every penny. I got a lot further on that I had expected, I now have a runner!!!!. All electrics are done and working and seats are back in. New brakes all round and new wheel bearings in rear driver side. All other bearings removed, cleaned and regreased. New rear brake shoes and front pads in also. So looking forward to driving it, hopefully by next weekend I'll be taking it for it first spin around the block.

Looking well really neat and tidy. All your electrics working, I hate you just saying like. Did any of them give you any problems I've still only one indicator, I'm ready for the hills.

Cheers mate, no real problems just had to check wiring diagrams and test from fuse box to get it all working. If you want a hand let me know and I'll bring what testing gear I have down and see if we can work it out. Its got to be something simple.
