:violent::focus: A nice pic of me and you si lol.

You not on lpg then?

no mate i am just on petrol, never been a lover of lpg in a V8. prefer to pollute the planet with lovely warming gasses.
started a new group, just thought i would see if there are many classic owners floating about, get some pics together, blah blah

right then chaps. I have jacked up the front right hand wheel only. I tried to drive off slowly. The wheel span about a quarter rotation, then locked and it tried to move off the jack.

This has now deepened the mystery for me. The wheels were definitely spinning when I was stuck in the mud. I have found someone with a viscous unit and am tempted to buy it to see if it makes any difference.

There is an AWDC drive round next weekend so I might go and see if I can get it stuck and see what it does.

I am perplexed to say the least!

I want to go and spend money on lifting it and steering guards etc but am hesitant to do so until I know whats wrong with it!

sounds like it passed the test it should be ok, just give it some when you get in the mud!

evening all. So, been to Broxhead with AWDC club today. I took some video footage which contradicts the test I did.

Some of the wheels were spinning whilst others were not moving

I cant work out how to upload video to here?

i have to say though gents, whoever said use the momentum of the v8 to power through was defo right to a degree. Some of my problems last month when I started the thread were because I was used to driving the Suzuki. Now I have had a chance to practice and get used to it I only got stuck a few times tackling the same obstacles.

Salisbury Plain here we come

I am about to get suspension. What I dont get is why the drivers side wheels arent spinning its as if they are dead!
its a centre diff lock(even tho its a CV) so the drive isnt nesercerily split evenly down the axle. One wheel spinning will take all the drive unless ya get air lockers.like this lot V
