Hello everyone!

I’m thinking of changing all my exterior lights on my 1989 Land Rover 90 200tdi to LED’s. However, I can’t find where my relay is for the indicator lights. I have seen a diagram which says it’s beneath the fuses, but this is not the case on mine. Hoping someone who’s had a similar problem could kindly point me in the right direction

many thanks!

That’s not a standard fuse box.
But look in that area for a large relay.
(Take some more photos if unsure)

The relay should be near the fuse board.
Colours of the wires look like a Normal loom. Is there anything tucked behind the metal where the fuses carries are screwed to?

have a look under the passenger seat next to the battery for any thing electrical
If it’s not there it may be behind the clocks. There is not much room to put these things

as this is a rebuild you will have fun finding out what’s what & where it lives

Unfortunately it looks like you have been 'rewired'.
The frame that is below your fuses in the first picture should hold the relays you are searching for (and others).

The two you have found in the engine bay - what is the value of the fuses in them (they probably arent the ones you want either).
I would suggest you put on the hazards and listen for the relay 'ticking'.

Anyway, why do you want to change the relay for the LED lights ?

Turn an indicator on. Listen for the clicking. Follow the sound. If you find more than one relay in the vicinity, put a finger [or more, if you wish] on it and feel for the clicking.
