You are supposed to prime them,usallly something in the packaging saying so.
Won't go soft again buuuut....its britpart so who knows!
 
As has been mentioned already get the swivel preload checked, especially as it has been lifted and the castor angle has been reduced.
 
Castor correction bushes replace the standard ones in the trailing link arm commonly called the hockey stick. The bolt tube through them is offset and they have to be fitted in the right rotation to set castor angle [the tilt at which the axle is set next to chassis] to much one way or another will result in touchy steering or one that does not self center.
