Hello has anyone put A/C in a non Air con V8 90 defender 1988 before. Just wondering if the parts where available and if so how much of a pain in the ass it is to do? Tnx
I have a 1988 air con V8 90 although I have removed most of it. The dash is different and it doesn't have front flaps on the bulk head. The heater box is different and then there is air con radiators and fans and a compressor. Probably more but that's all I can think of.
When I bought it wasn't working and I use mine offloading quite a bit the air on radiator was getting blocked. I changed the engine to a 4.2 and didn't bother fitting the compressor. I still have the bits I case a future owner wants to refit.
