Evening all, 1988 110 CSW fitted with 300Tdi from Disco, fitted with original LT77 gearbox with original 2.5TD bellhousing and a 1.211 (or was it 1.221??) Disco transfer box....

I have a curious problem.....on the first and second push of the brake pedal of the day, i.e. left overnight, even with a normal application of the brake pedal, the rears will lock up quite happily with the usual swing of the rear pendulum effect.

After a few pedal applications, she'll be fine for the rest of the day, but if left for a few hours, the first few applications cause the rears to bite quite sharply....

I know the 90's have a compensator valve, but I am not sure what could be causing it on the 110.

Any ideas where I can start locking, keen to resolve before the real cold sets in over the next coupe of months!

Discs or drums? Don't 110's have a compensator valve? How do they distribute braking power to the front?
