i would like to refurb the front brakes on my series 3, its got 11 inch drums on the front, any ideas on how much parts will cost for the lot, for if i use, A- britpart parts and, B-non britpart and good quality stuff ??? thanks ben

Or thinking of it another way....

A- I want to save money or
B- I like refurbing my brakes and relish the thought of doing it every 6 months
C- I like to know my Series will stop when I hit the brakes

dont use cheap pattern ,britpart are a wholesaler and do a range of parts ,genuine and pattern ,and branded your choice ,the larger retail companies compete on price so offer cheap **** but they could sell you decent parts if you asked

dont use britpart unless you want to do the job again in 6 weeks, its a shame really because its the only part company for land rovers that is always readliy available. but i never trust them especially after the history ive had

on brakes i would always buy quality, you dont want to skimp on your life.

thanks benny thats just the kind of think i was looking for, £52- for all shoes and clyinders,i would never complain about something been to cheap, but shoud i be looking at more expensive things for more quality?, my landy has no mod's and is a diesel so not like ive got allot of power to slow down, do you guys think thats the ticket for quality and price, because i do not want to replace then in 6 weeks, 6 years i was more thinking
thanks ben
edit ' also forgot SPECIAL OFFER Series Land Rovers Complete Brake Overhaul Kit - SWB from 1980

i know that its illgal to sell now, but if you can get hold of some asbestos shoes, they are much more efficient and more hardwearing, dont squeal as much either, just make sure to wear a mask when dealing with them, and use brake cleaner to turn the dust into liquid.
