Yeah ive seen quite a few converted to campers in the back.... and most of them, badly.

Im one for originality, I couldnt bring myself to rip all the gubbins out of the rear and ply line it for recreational use, I have a dodgy caravan for that! :D

However, you could sleep on the stretchers, not sure how comfy it would be haha

Go to an upholsterers and get them to cut you a 2 inch thick bit of foam to the right size - instant mattress.

Better still, we have some old ERF E series bunk beds with cab sized matresses on at work. Might have to get the blood stains and sweat out of them but would work a treat!

Also got a few old D1 night heaters to make into 1 good one, trouble is, they are 24 volt. Wouldnt take much to rig up 2 batteries in the back somewhere :D

strechers are dead comfy :D

and also fit well across the bulkhead / tailgate of a 109 ;)

Ah the sweet sweet sound of jealousy :p

Nice to see one as original though :)

Ere saw that silver one parked up tuther week, and sussed out what he's done to the back doors. Whole rear is a lift up tailgate on gas struts.

is this motor likely to be for sale in the foreseeable future ??

if so i would be very interested :D

If the right offer comes along, then yes. I have just bought my first house so really I should get rid of some projects. Me and dad will be giving it a lick of paint soon. Not sure whether to keep it sand and green (cyprus colours) or black and green (british army camouflage). Im undecided.

The sand and green looks well on her.

Brown, green AND black camo looks cool too ;)

Looks cool, but wouldn't be an original colour for it (yeah yeah yeah stop banging on about originality, i hear you shout) but that's what this one is all about. I'm gutted it hasn't got the original size tyres on it to be honest!

I think desert sand and green makes it stand out more on the roads, if it was all green it would just look like a 109 with an ugly body on the back.......oh wait.....hang on a minute.... :D

stuck with proper sand and olive drab.

looks the dogs danglers now, even if we did rush it..... as we painted it the night before a transport show.

And wired up the blue light on top, so that works now :)

Also with its correct military number to match
