Hello,Again,Ken in Panama.I'm trying to sort out a Fuel Supply Problem.I was supposed to be at the Border Yesterday.I moved from Costa Rica and still carry C/R Plates, since the Government does'nt want/like any Vehicles older than 10 years on the Road,They imposed a $1500 new Plate Fee.Plus around $200 for the "Brokers" fee to do the Paper work.So I have to Renew my "Circulation" Papers every THIRTY DAYS.And their Heavy Handed on this Matter.I've done everything,Starting at the Fuel Tank and working my way forward.Cleaned all the Fuel Lines,New Fuel Pump/Filters and all that. This Car is in good condition, having spent most of it's Life on a Coffee Plantation,in a Barn.Whats that Fuel Line that runs from the Fuel Pump Banjo Fitting(Inlet side)down to the Very base of the Injector Pump. It's dripping, would this cause my Problem of starting, and then not Taking Throttle and then Dying???
Thanks for any help.Ken

Try some new copper washers on the banjo at IP. It shouldn't leak and chances are ye might be pulling in air;)

the union at the bottom of the pump is a one way valve(sort of high pressure leak off back to the lift pump), if it is leaking from there then it will be draining the fuel from the distro pump and also possibly sucking in air to the system.
had the same problem myself went through the whole system replacing all the copper washers and the last ones i changed were on the one way valve(one steel and one aliminium both copper now), bled it through and she started first time..... sods luck:doh:
