Hi. It's a 2007 SE. The studs don't match up. I've seen these fitted to a 2007 so I'm wondering whether these have had to had the entire wheel hub changed to the facelift hubs. That would be a very expensive upgrade. Any ideas?

If the stud are a different PCD, then the wheels are from the wrong vehicle Discovery 3/4 I think.
It is possible to get hub adaptors, but run it by your insurance company first, as many refuse to insure hub adaptors, or charge a heafty premium for doing so. Use them at your own risk.
It's better to get the correct wheels, which are made to fit the FL2 stud pattern.

On me phone so cant easily check if there's more than one part number because they changed the hub and bolt spacing.
Advice... The Freelander 2 came with several wheel size options. 16 17 18 and 19inch. The bigger the alloy the thinner the tyre bit. A 19inch genuine FL2 wheel has the same thickness of tyre as a FL1 16inch wheel. But 19's drum a bit which is annoying on a FL2 and spoils the drive if it annoys yer. To solve this yer lower the pressure from 35 to 32psi. That puts more tyre ont road and drumming reduces. If it were me eye would try and return the wheels and get some that fit propper. And a smaller size alloy so the tyres are cheaper.
Hi. Many thanks for the advice. I think I'll sell these on. Do you know if the HST Dynamic wheels would be a straight forward fit on a FL2?
