My first long journey in my defender!
First thing I have to comment on is the £56 worth of diesel that my tank holds..
I've not had a tank that small on a car since my rover metro fifteen years since!

Set off to lakes and alls well.. good old big blue cobs along at 80 (flat)
Got there worked all day, got wet(its the lakes).

Set off back and have to pull over twice as all my windows are fogging up. Outside they are covered in water. It seems they have been coated in something that attracts and holds water. I've never seen so much stick to anything vertical. Its all o.k I can cope with this.. (nothings fallen off)

Then I notice I have a cold foot.. odd... I hit the 60s and my foot gets colder.. looking down I notice a stream of water coming out of the dash above my accelerator .. where the hell is this coming from! Above 60 and it stops.. 60 and it starts again. Any ideas anyone? I have no drafts in my cab..windscreen seal seems good.

So I'm getting near home and something begins to happen that I've not experienced since the school bus with my books on my knee...
The awesomeness of land rovers knows no limits!
I keep finding these clever secret features although that was yesterday and my balls are still humming to the tune of my defender..
Is there an after market ball dampener?
Or a full seat arse clamp or summat..

Thanks for you eyes.. and I'll have another dose of the rants soon..x

1. Put the blower on, note I said blower no heater to clear the screen.
2. Wear a pair of wellies to stop your feet from getting wet.
3. Enjoy the humming, some people pay good money to have their balls hummed on.

Are you Australian?

You sure whinge a lot, ya bloody wendy.

:D

Ginge..I'm a Yorkshire pudding... whippets, ferrets, sideways rain, I'm tough as old boots wear a flat cap and your mum loves me..x
