So what is a life time 1,2,3,4,5, 100 years? It means they are guaranteed until they fail. Then you buy new ones that is their life time. So in eight or ten years time when they are all perished and worn out they will still change them if they burst. Bet you they don't. It's a play on words to make the buyer feel safe. Means nothing, the manufacturer decides what a life time consists of, not the buyer.

As regarding the above usual positive comment from the dear member I have sent an E-mail to Arnott Industries and received the follwing answer. And it is certainly good enough for me.

The warranty is for the life of the vehicle. If the air spring wears out or breaks due to a manufacturers defect we will repair or replace it for you. The warranty is only for the person that purchased the part directly from us and is not transferable.

hello again;
i have discovered today that the front airbags are leaking from the top section!!! how could that happen and why?the retaining screws from the top are there and the nut! how can cold wheather affect the top section of the airbag to dislocate it from the top although the clips are there?
the mechanic checked the airbags and told me that they can serve more time,the cracks found where not alot.how can i fix the dislocation of the airbags,it only happens when weather is cold and air gushes out,until they get heated from the engine and hold back the air.

The clips only retain the top mounting. The bag locates on a lip on that top mount. It also locates on a lip on the lower mounting but the bag rolls inside itself as it extends, there should be no movement on the top of the bag at all. Rubber perishes with age and hardens that is most likely the cause. If your mounts are aluminium, some are, then the seal maybe broken by corrosion of the alloy rather like a bead leak on an alloy wheel. If they are leaking from there, you need new bags i would think.

:welcome2: hi my friend.
cheers,screw the mechanic i will replace them,the fooker wants 50$ to replace them,i will do them by myself,and invite myself for a beer,that is if i keep my both hands after replacement,otherwise the beer will be consumed with a straw..i guess.:eek:

i made up my mind,i will buy myself a pair of fresh, good old ,oem ...dunlops.Hell the originals lasted for 15 years,and after 15 years i will replace them again,maybe with arnott gen 10 or somtg,that is if there is no more dunlops ....
Using oem parts is the best thing to do. (my opinion anyway)
