hey mate get your self down tesco its on offer at the moment, 2 litres of 15w40 semi synthetic (castrol GTX branded so probs good stuff!), 6 quid, so thats 4 litres for 12 quid, I havn't found it cheaper any where else, and just bought a shed load of it.

If you have a Costco near by, Chevron 15w40 was around £45 for 20L last time i looked

They only do chevron in 10w 40 or 5w 30 in the 20l drums in Costco.

I run the 10w 40 and it's good stuff.

i saw lidl have their own 10/40 or maybe 15/40 stuff £10 for 5lt
