The OE rear socket piggybacks onto the rear power socket in the centre console. If it doesn't ha the rear power socket (it was also an option) the you can simply plug into the connector and extend the wiring to the boot.Hi
I'd like to add a 12v power socket in the rear of my FL1 (5 door), does anyone know it there's already a suitable power supply or should I run one from the center console?
I've looked at various LR wiring diagrams but nothing obvious stands out.
Thanks

Good idea, there is one on ebay but not sure about how it fits into the FL as it looks to be held in place by a single screw and I doubt that'll be compat with the FL.That's quite an expensive kit for a fag lighter (accessory socket). You can get the socket that's fitted in the boot area of D2's amongst others for £35.09 p/no YXW100040LNF (see pics) or just go to Halfords & get one for under a tenner, which is what I did.
