I am after a load liner for a brand new hi cap 110, its slippy as hell at the moment. I can only seem to find extremely expensive aluminium chequer plate versions.

Been thinking about trailer board or ply, but I imagine they trap a fair amount of moisture under them. Any other ideas would help.

Something like 18/15mm stable matting works very well as it's heavy enough to stay down in the wind yet can still be lifted out by hand. It also has ribs on the underside to let water run out and if it can cope with the weight of a horse, bricks logs etc won't puncture it. Ebay is good for all different types of rubber matting.

What Boris said. stable/cow matting is about £35 for an 2.4 x 1.2m (8x4) sheet or if yu live near a steel mill they use it to prevent the rolls of sheet steel moving about on the trucks
