I agree with this ^^Cut the floor, why not drop the tank?
It is not a difficult job rather than butcher the tub.
i have quite a few times ,its allways possible to get a tank out however rusted , but for a diyer cutting a hole is easier bodge ,ive seeen someone bring me a truck with the whole floor peeled backWell, That's 3 opinions, well 2ish. However let me put forward my case.
Disagree, it's a sh*t job. Have you done one? My Defender spent 15 ýears by the coast in north west Scotland living outside and covering between 1270 miles and 4359 miles per year to average 2802 miles per year. Needless to say a modicum of rust appeared, chassis was waxoyled but superficial bolts etc were not so chances of getting all 4 out are virtually nil
Have you done one?
the reverse is horrific
