Now then.
Having been around my mates who are well into landys it only made sense I should pick up this 96 110 300tdi when it came up for sale (my mates old mans truck)
It's been well looked after and I knew a lot of its history so was more at ease when buying it.
Currently I have a company whip for daily work use so this is purely for abit of fun and to satisfy my spannering urges... Of which I'm sure they'll be plenty...
Being an aircraft electrician by trade and currently a diesel engineer I am used to working on fiddly complex stuff so I was more than impressed by how easy these are to work on.
Plans are to give her a general tidy up, a few bits like lights bumpers grills etc.
I've already stuck a 2" lift kit on her.
The motor and drive train are pretty good at the moment...so not going to touch that..yet..
The mrs might be getting me a snorkel come Xmas. Yes she loves landys!!! Had them in her family all her life.
Anyways it's always useful being part of a forum for whatever you drive hence why I'm getting involved here.
Cheers.
