Hi all,

Would anyone know where i can get a drivers side door latch for my defender 110 (1991)? (see pics of existing part) I have not had any luck so far and without a working latch my truck is not going to make it through the MOT.
Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Unless I am missing something it is just an early 90/110 lift-up anti-burst O/S front door handle.
Can't access my parts catalogue at the moment but the quickest of searches came up with this.

Some of the early door bits can be hard to track down. The MoD fitment may be different than the civvy edition - is this an ex MoD landy?

What’s the latch not doing? Latching I guess! Have you tried soaking it with penetrating release spray or leaving in a bowl of diesel to free things up?

They can be repaired. They have to be drilled to separate and the spring replaced.

There is a link on here for a repair kit. Nice and cheap, and an easy job.
