Ah! no worries - I agree - the red booster is daft money .... when we bought SWMBO a D1, we looked at that as quick and easy fix, and I emailed them to ask about fitting to a D1 - they didn't even reply :rolleyes: .... still haven't :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Hence, the MG style remote brake servo from ebay for £85 ish - it's been brilliant, and remains so :)

I’ve got the clutch spring kit ready to go, keep being distracted by other ‘5min jobs’! Having now ripped muscles in my back wrestling the tow bar off, i’ll be resting for a week or so before the contortions of footwell diving

Changed the MAF today - now goes like a train....
 
So here’s the question - my DCPU has its backside in the air because it’s on HD springs. The shox are misty (got a set of TF Big Bore already to go) so if I want to go level all round without a lift, who have got what springs on their DCPU?

I’m not towing, or putting any heavy kit on it (winch etc)

I couldnt tell you tbh! But if the pedal is the same as a def then the spring should fit.

If the slave is the same as a def then should fit!
 
So it’s driveable and now being used more regularly, it’s got a wet bum (like a Hamster) - it’s Diesel from somewhere at top/rear of the tank close to the filler neck.....some rummaging tomorrow. At least the OSR chassis is not rusting....

Does this look like arse in air or soft front springs, or both?

Nice project I was looking at getting one but opted for 90 td5 pick up which I’m hoping to turn into a rag top but u never know might treat me self again one day
