I’ve recently purchased a 110 csw as a project it’s had a galv chassis. Just need some generally tidying up and a lick of paint. I’m looking to convert it into a pick. Just wondering if anyone has any advice. Struggling to find a dcpu roof. Cheer tom

Why are you converting it to a dcpu?...a lot of work is it not...a csw on a galv chassis has got to be worth more as is...

I’d agree. If you want a pick up, I’d sell the CSW and find a pick up . It would be more cost effective to sell the CSW as you’d be I profit given that they fetch better money.

A pick up suits me more as I’m a farmer and like to put the dogs in an ifor Williams canopy on the back to save having muddy dogs in with you. I’ve looked at buying a dcpu but I can’t find any with a galv chassis for sensible money

Have you looked at the price of a csw on a galv chassis?...

Build a dog guard behind the seats. It’s a lot easier. Plus it keeps the dogs warm in the winter.

Yeah I get what you mean I’ll look into the dog guard and hope I can find a dcpu roof. I’m doing a Cummins conversion so there will be no rush on the roof really was just looking for other peoples opinions really

I'm halfway through a similar conversion. I bought a 110 HCPU, sold the bed, bought a CSW tub, moved the rear screen then cut the rear section of roof of the truck cab as it's rounded and bought a donor roof to chop the front off. Then I used 15,000 rivets to join it all back together.
