I saw one of these for sale a bit back and have thought about selling my 90 and making one!

These are the photos of the one for sale....

To be fair I should have just bought it and had done... But now I am thinking of getting a 110 and a lot of angle grinding discs :D

Any ideas and thoughts?

Made this a while back when I was dreaming but not been able to log in on my laptop to upload!

LOL thats small!

Any way I am sure you all get the idea, get a 110, cut the back down to make it shorter and look more like a 90 would but with propper back seats and belts and doors to let the kids in and out of...

Anyone done it? Any ideas or warnings?

Why would you? unless your going to be using it for very very extreme pay & play sites Or comp safaris. If you've got kids then the extra luggage space in a 110 is a god send. Why would you want to lose it??

I can't can't see anything in those pics that would be of any use or offer any benefit to your average 4x4 driver.

If I were to do it I would be doing it more as a road car and not a super off roader such as the green small photo mock up I did.

Why, pain in the ar*e getting people in and out of the 90 with the forward facing seats, dont like the look of a 110 unless its is in double cab form. And it is something to do!

The Insurance isn't too much of a problem as I have a special policy that covers me on anything under 5k with or without modifications for Business or Social use.

I think the Blue one was a competition car but I quite like the look of it! I think having a small 90 looking truck with 5 doors would be cool and who cares about the boot space.

well at the end of the day you have to be the one using it so, go for it if its what you like and are willing to put the time into it . my dad an i are currently converting a 110 300tdi pick up chassis to a TD5 110 county sw .we started with a 110 Td5 van and 300 tdi county back half the pick up chassis and various bits . its going well but man its alot of work ..
