I have a 110 300tdi.
The other day i ran it with only front prop on in diff lock. i put the rear prop back on later to find i had a bad vibration. Gonads i thought, uj has gone. After putting 2 new prop shafts on i still have this vibration. It is there right through the speeds and sounds propa rough at 70mph. There seems to be a big clunk once you have let the clutch out and put the gas down like there is play in the drive train. ive just changed a half shalf and flange in the sailsbury. when you let off the gas the vibration seems to stop and it rolls smooth.
I have a bad feeling that it could be the transfer box.
Any ideas would be good.
