Having fitted a 200 tdi to my 110, I'm having bother mating a standard 110 200tdi exhaust to the front cast down pipe.
I think after investigation that the cast pipe could well be from a discovery. I've removed it and seems to have the number HTC 2172 or 2572 or 2112 on the cast pipe (difficult to read on the cast).
Anybody know?

The defender cast part nos seem to be ESR158 or ESR2297. Probably a disco engine fitted - you can tell by the engine number.

Defender 200TDI's engines start with L11on the engine number, also the Turbos are higher.

Has the front cast down pipe been modified to take the original exhaust.
What engine did it have originally.
It may be that the system will need modified to take a 200tdi exhaust but will mate to the original exhaust without problems.

You'll need a modified down pipe to fit your original exhaust.

p.s you can diy your own modification, but I'd personally fork out the cash!
