As I'm new to this forum, i'm posting this thread for anyone to read who loves 101's.
As I have previously explained, we (sister,Bro-in-law and myself) have recently aquired a 101, prototype no8 no less!.
What a Job we are having with her! 25 minutes into her leaving the Garage of the person we bought her off, she did a reasonably good impersonation of a steam engine when the Radiator hose blew!!! (yes we were the ones you were laughing at outside of Chester) 24 hours later the Rescue service finally dropped her off at our place.
Am I coming to a point with this drivel, I hear you ask? well if anyone can can give us any pointers on any other problems we may encounter whilst restoring her, can you let us know so we can avoid them
Sorry I still can't upload any pictures of her at present, but she looks like a rather neglected bin wagon !so I think I will try not to shock those easily frightened
Wish us luck,
Sledgehammerdog.
