Hello

my freelander gear got stuck in neutral, after messing with the clutch/brake pedal and turing it on and off it started workng fine ie selecting gears without a problem..

any idea what is going on?

I was having that problem with my car . Yesterday was at CO-OP and the clutch went, pedal fell to the floor and stayed there. Had to pull the clutch pedal up with my foot and then pressed it again, same thing happened. Got taken to my mechanic, most probably the hydraulic system. Dont know how much it will be yet, but will let you know ASAP. Dont let that happen to you though!! Was difficult getting it out of a carpark at a time where kids were leaving their schools! Was manic!!

Take it to mechanic as soon as you can!

Just got a quote from my Garage.

Its the Head Cylinder for the Hydraulic Clutch thats gone.

Gonna be about £100 for me, so if you get it checked out before it knackers up the whole thing then it'll be cheaper for you

Thanks for the update.

Since it got struck it got stuck one more time but since then its been fine.

I will get it checked out
