I'm new to this forum but already you guys have saved me a packet, you solved my poor warm starting (cam sensor) and now coolant airlocks. However I now live in fear of HGF. If the 1.8 petrol is a heap of crap how does my 2.5 V6 petrol rate against it ? Jasper:(
 
10 times worse if yer ask me (and yes, I did have one fer 3 yrs / 60k).
 
It is only better because of the extra horses, but you can tune a 1.8 to go way beyond this.

6 cylinders in the V6 only 4 in the 1.8

I'd say the odds are against the V6, more cylinders, more chance of a hgf
