hi,new to this site so hello,got a 98 freelander i use as a dog/fishing workhorse,its developed a knocking when turning on full lock and when i reverse out of the drive and go right hand down you get a proper "klonk"and then its fine??? sounds like its offside rear? any pointers would be great,quite happy spannering! cheers.

rear suspension arms can crack on these and it may be that, have a search on here and i'm sure you'll find it.

could be your cvj it is usually the opposit side to which you are turning say if turning left then it will be the right one turning right it will be the left one try to get some one near the car when turning to see if they can hear it hope this helps
