Look down the side of the cooler behind the power steering reservoir. Looks like this.
Sensor is normally closed. Open = overheat, so bad connection gives intermittent message on dash.

No, nor have I but it is the only thing there I can think of unless a blend motor is doing it.

From what I’ve seen from the headgasket update won’t bother him anymore
